This would have to be one of my favourites this year, dark and moody with a deep appreciation of amazing produce picked directly from the restaurants gardens onsite! yes its that fresh!

I knew I wanted to capture sunlight within the images, be it a sun ray and or long shadow like the warm afternoon sun so this became the the major component of the lighting for every image.

Many people may not know I run two businesses, in addition to my creative endeavours and clients shown here on the blog,  I run Four Corners Photo most days. Four Corners Photo is specialist Real Estate Marketing Network, a one stop marketing shop for all things real estate.

Something a bit different for interest and to commemorate my launch day.

Just Like my clients who hire me to do photography for their business I needed images to market this business also.

Its really important when you are busy to have  images on hand for any situation. You never know when an opportunity comes your way so you might as well be ready!

I have to tell you doing my own marketing images not only gives you many technical challenges but you tend to be too close to the project, so being objective without loosing your vision can be really difficult.

I had heaps of support and help from friends and fellow colleagues getting all my bits together, thank you to Phil for my official logo, Lindsay from Milc Design listening to all my crazy ideas,  Moruya printing, Jamie & Emma for your initial support and ongoing support being a part of the network.

LONGBEACH BATEMANS BAY - Airstream Australia shoot

This shot was at the end of the afternoon shoot, we were located at longbeach for the shoot, the last frame was to be a styled and have a lovely sunset shot, when the clouds went no, and rolled in and rain was just over our shoulders. so what do you do In this situation you go as fast as you can.

Even the car had gone out with protest for all the moving around we did that day and decided that it was not going to take anymore by not going down to the tow bar! I thought cars just backed up and the tow bar and you swivel the tow bar up or down until you hook up?, but not so, fancy cars have electric riser things that make it easier to attach to a tow bar , however it has risen too high and would not come down. oh! i said ok well lets push it and quickly... go boys!

I would of helped but I had to get this awesome out take shot. haha!

BATEMANS BAY - BAY BREEZE BOUTIQUE ACCOMODATION

Split images  or (diptych) offer another way to photograph and tell the story behind the room.

I have photographed Bay Breeze previously to show off their incredible penthouse apartment.  This time around I did the other rooms within the complex for them to use in online marketing such as booking.com and Trip advisor in which they were ranked number 1 for some time for the Batemans Bay area. What was great was to be able to showcase the rooms in my unique split image arrangement seen on pic 2 below.

Its always good to see how images are put together for marketing.  In this case they had super talented local graphic Bjarni Wark put together the brochure.

The exterior shoot I did on all the models on the beach are showcased on their websites as cutouts, while the interior shoot  is shown in the online brochures as well as hard copies.

MOLLYMOOK BEACH - PAM BURRIDGE WEEKEND SURF RETREAT

Some shoots are just fun! and I count myself a lucky girl to do what I do. This photo shoot was about documenting an all women's weekend surf retreat instructed by former World Champion surfer - Pam Burridge.
